I may have screwed up on the not saying don’t say hello but the music is from the original 1963 TV series “The Outer Limits.” It is a CD featuring the music and sound effects from the the original master tape recordings most of which are in stereo.
Yes indeed, I do remember “The Outer Limits” I watched on channel 9 in Los Angeles in the 1970s. As I remember it came on around the 11:30 slot followed by “Night Gallery”. I had various answering machines over the years, both analog and digital. Rewinding and erasing those tapes was a pain in the rear, and the micro-cassette format was worthless.
