This was sometime in the late 1960s at my home in Martinez, California. I recognize a Knight Kit KM-15 monaural amplifier at the lower right.

I can remember deliberately buying monaural LP records back then because I had a monaural audio system. The Monkees were on Colgems Records and the stereo versions had the designation “COS” and the monaural versions were “COM.”

Do you recall where you canibalized the elements from? Thats quite a range of sizes! Does the mixing of elements of different resistance effect the amplifier adversely? I’m seriously the biggest dummy when it comes to Shocky-things, and wondered that many times but been too embarrassed to ask.
