Bottle-shaped sound.
I’ve heard where people stick microphones into large diameter PVC pipes so that there’s this weird tubular rushing sound of the ambient room noise.
Hey! I’m glad you’re now online and blogging all these sound experiments!
I LOVE THIS! I love how you first do a sound test outside the bottle. Then it really sounds like you’re in the wine bottle.
By the way, screw-top wine is the best.
This one cracks me up.
You’ve reached a new level of dumbness here. The 20 count was a bold move.
is that the same mic you swallowed to record stomach sounds?
It is a RadioShack printed circuit mount electret condenser microphone element similar or identical to model # 270-090 from the RadioShack online catalog.
I’m sorry efrem almost a year later to clarify the microphone I used for “My stomach” was from a room equalizer, an Audiocontrol model C-101. Here is a picture of that microphone: http://www.negativland.com/dumb/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/my-stomach-microphone.jpg
Here is a similar microphone to the one I used in “Bottle Test”: http://www.negativland.com/dumb/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/electret-condenser-microphone.jpg.
