I can hear the police scanner and some ambient noises. Do you have two outside mics with one in the left and the other in the right channel?
Sounds good, except every once in a while a loud click comes over, and the audio cuts out. It sounds like it is a network streaming issue (not sure).
Is this a tele-tour?
What kind of device are you cutting in with to speak? sounds like a CB.
Sounds like I’m just catching the tail end here, better than nothing.
Whatever-Whatever.

You are absolutely correct, Christian. I was vacuuming pizza crumbs off the kitchen floor. Syd you are also right. I had Seattle police talking though a scanner radio along with the outside microphones. There is a left and right microphone outside of my house. The clicks were cell phone interference getting into a baby room monitor channel on another scanner radio. And Automaticbowelmovement, I had a third scanner radio tuned to channel 10 FRS (family radio service) and I was speaking on a Motorola “Talkabout” model TA280SLK family radio transceiver.
Hi Dave! I am glad I check on what Negativland is up to every once in awhile, it was fun to discover your blog and catch up on what you’re doing.
I love your field recordings! Me and my friends are in the middle of working on our entry for the RPM Challenge this year http://www.rpmchallenge.com/
may I use some of your field recordings in our work for this year’s entry?
Here are the entries from the previous two years: http://mellowcorporation.rpmchallenge.com/
and here is the current project in progress – 20 days to go! http://rpm10.peanutonastring.com/
Thanks for your consideration!

I’ve been testing Ustream during the last week, but I didn’t say anything about it because I still have a lot to learn. I think I did get it to work fairly well for a couple hours, however.
