I know you’d seen at least SOME snow in the past (the 1972 porch picture is one time we know of for sure) – but was moving to Seattle the first time you’d ever really been able to see significant accumulation in person?
Pardon my strange looking sentence – “was AFTER moving to Seattle”, is what I meant to say.
Actually, I’ve seen quite a bit of snow over the years. It’s all been in Seattle, except that one time in California in 1972.
1972 is such a long time ago!

Sorry, I was too lazy too make proper links to these posts, but the web addresses should work just fine.
Ah, OK. Maybe my wording was still a bit off. The main gist of my question was if most/all of what you’d seen had been since moving to Seattle, and if that ’72 occurrence had been one of the few (or only?) times in CA.
Not a matter of earth shattering importance! The pics just made me wonder, and the ’72 snow was on my mind from recently listening to the Willsaphone release party OTE show, where it is discussed briefly.
I think there was a snow event in California when I was much younger in the early 60s when I was living in Berkeley. If my memory is correct, on that day my parents and I took a road trip to Mount Diablo. There may be 8 millimeter home movies of a snowball fight. It’s barely possible I might have that film, but don’t count on it.
What wonderful pictures! It’s been windy here in Knights Landing, ca(moved recently). It’s suppose to rain the next couple of days, with a thunderstorm coming. I can’t wait! I would love to record it via video. I hope i can catch some lightning streaking through the sky.
Hope you’re doing well David!
