Props! Thanks for sharing your slideshow. It reminds me very much of my Great Uncle George. You’ll understand exactly what my great uncle was like; he looked and behaved almost exactly like Mary’s dad, Bill, in Eraserhead! hahaha The only difference is that George had a sense of humor. Coincidentally, he was also a pipe welder in a steel plant before he retired (Weirton Steel: it even looked like the Eraserhead world, up close). Occasionally, my cousin will bark, “Look at my knees!!!” and we get to smile about Uncle Geo. We miss him. He improvised piano like a master, almost daily after dinner, telling old funny stories and drinking coffee. He would record jokes and goofing around. I wish I had those tapes.
The slide with the growling cat also cracks me up. 😀
Little damn things! But they’re new. Thank you, Ed.
haha Yes! That moment is exactly like him.
Also, you’re very welcome. I wish there was a way to hear more Over the Edge: like a Hearts of Space-style pay web archive. I’m just now getting to hear everything and it’s tough to find recordings, aside from those you’ve already published on CD. I know there must be countless recordings. Anyway, thanks again.
Psst – hey Ed. Over thataway. And free!
