I found this at Saar’s Market Place in Seattle. It was more than a dollar cheaper than other products like Tilex soap scum remover, for example.
Here is my shower stall door after more than a year without being cleaned. The left side of the picture shows the lack of soap scum after just one application of BANG!

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackHola Weatherman! I appreciate the cleaning tips. Unfortunately my shower doesn’t have a glass door. Also I use the “hippy” brands, so I probably wouldn’t actually use “Bang”. It’s a great package none-the-less.
But, the main reason I’m posting here is because I don’t currently know of any other way to reach you. Nor do I know if this way will work. Never-the-less. I’m doing a show on Hollow Earth Radio here in Seattle (click on the link). It’s Internet only, but we have an honest to goodness studio in the Central District. I would *love* to have you on. I love the stuff Negativland did and I think you’d make an amazing guest showing off some sounds, talking about electronics, theories on life or really anything. The show is pretty loose. If you’re interested either contact the station attention DJ Josh or post up here and I’ll check back. My show is Wed 11am-1pm. Thank you very much for your interest and I hope my “Stuff” here on the internet has caused you to chuckle. As for me, I’m shy and generally don’t think to highly of myself. In addition, I don’t like email and I can be quite lazy. However, at the very least, a webcast from my computer to the Hollow Earth studio is possible. I can broadcast on Shoutcast and Ustream. Check my new post http://www.negativland.com/dumb/blog/?p=3527 and that will show what I could send, live or recorded.
I did once or twice go live from my home here in Seattle on KBOO in Portland and once to KPFA for an entire “Over The Edge” show. Both of these times I used Shoutcast. The fidelity is excellent, but there was an annoying time delay that can sometimes be over a minute. I think I was on KBOO a second time when I used Ustream and the time delay was considerably less with the same good fidelity. I know that Hollow Earth Radio sent me an invitation for something within the year and I apologize for not responding! I will go to the website and check what you suggested and maybe get in touch within the next week. Just remember I am DUMB! By the way, the email address on this page is phony, sorry.
I highly recommend “L.A.’s Awesome Orange,” but not for what you think it’s good for. It’s not so hot as a general cleanser, but it is a really good degreaser and it cleans stains off fabric really well! I would try the “Bang!” for more reasons than just the great name.
Thanks for the quick reply David. You’re welcome to participate in any way you’re comfortable. I’d love to do an interview. Mostly because I’m interested in asking you questions 🙂 If it helps with the shyness, I’m sure more people read this blog than listen to my show! But if you’d rather do some other form of broadcast we can make it work. We broadcast via Shoutcast and there is a delay. Might have to work around that. I listened to that CB mix last night and it’s great. I didn’t realize Hollow Earth Radio had already contacted you. I wonder who it was. Maybe Garrett?
For the record, the Weatherman was an excellent radio guest. The show worked great, once we realized that the delay was something one had to deal with.
A fun time was had by all.

Josh, If you are in fact live Wednesdays 11AM to 1PM as the schedule (Hollow Earth Radio) indicates, I will call. Whats odd is that it looks like your last show was on November 23rd. When I look back on the schedule to November 23rd your show title “Not Everybody’s Got a Job” isn’t listed and it isn’t listed on Wednesday December 7th, as well. In fact, I don’t see your show anywhere on the schedule. I’m confused! Surely I’m wrong. Please correct my incredible dumbness. I do like your last comment, though. Someone was likely laughing when they heard my stomach! Actually, I kind of had to drink prune juice, because I nearly consumed an entire 12 pound turkey during Thanksgiving and my stomach had quite a time. Sorry, I know that was gross!
Hey Weatherman! Yes, the last show was on the 23rd. I came down with a cold last week and couldn’t do the show 🙁 I hear there were some technical problems at the station this weekend, but that should be fixed up soon and I plan on making a triumphant return this Wednesday, the 14th, from 11am-1pm. I’m not sure why it’s not listed on the schedule, but I emailed the director to correct that. You’re definitely welcome to call in live. The phone system is a little weird, so you might have to call a couple of times before I figure out how to pick it up properly!
I did try to listen on Dec. 7th and it appeared the server was down. I was busy on Dec. 14th, but I’ll try listening on the 21st and/or the 28th of December. This time when I look at the schedule, I now see your show listed. Hang in there! I don’t mind if the phones are “weird”, and I’m willing to speak on or off the air.

Josh, Is it possible for you to receive(or are you allowed to do so) a Shoutcast stream and have a caller on the phone simultaneously, while you are broadcasting? I would like to try that, if possible. Careful, I might play some copyrighted farting. Imagine if Xtube decided to sue for copyright infringement.
I pooped out after working on the latest posts, but I will try to at least listen on the 28th and other Wednesdays in the future. Try not to be angry and/or frustrated with my antics and Merry Christmas!
Hola, que tal! Felix Navidad! Etc. The farting was all of the below: frighting, hilarious, inspiring and vaguely erotic. So we do callers via Skype. I’m not sure how we’d do the simultaneous Stream. Basically, only one of us could be streaming at once… Well, there is one possibility. If you broadcast your stream somewhere, then I could tune into that stream at the station. There’s be a delay depending on how you have your shoutcast set up. If you have Skype, you might be able to hook a mike into whatever sound making stuff you have there. I could also play some Youtubes of yours while you’re on the line. We’ll figure it out. My show is 99% about winging it. Which has its ups and downs 🙂
