Direct mp4 download or play: Radio Catheter
This video shows software defined radio software operating as a digital audio effects processor. The source is Winamp with its DirectSound Output and WaveOut Output set to line 1 of Virtual Audio Cable. Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) line 1 is routed to SDRSharp soundcard input. The SDR window is precisely sized to 960 x 540 pixels (16 x 9 aspect ratio) using a free pixel measuring (Cropper) program. In addition, VST effects can be applied simultaneously in Winamp using a VST host. The video and audio was screen captured using Daum PotPlayer. Finally, the media file was trans-coded to Flash. Just now, (March 2nd, 2018) I eliminated the Flashplayer and now use the WordPress player.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackWeatherman, This is freaky. I love it. It sort of reminds me of trying to tune in carrier wave broadcasts from amateur radio operators on my Heathkit Shortwave Radio, Model SW-717.
