My mother liked animals a lot. She fixed up the backyard to be attractive to all critters. We had a variety of birds, opossums, skunks, foxes raccoons, rats, not including all of the stray cats. I think there were a couple of deer at one time, as well. My mother always had water and dry cat food available.
